Sono Vivaldi Park: 10 slopes and two gondolas, late-night skiing until 03:00, shuttles and buses from Seoul, Ocean World and Snowy Land, plus Hongcheon trout and buckwheat noodles.
Run by Sono International, Vivaldi Park is a large resort in western Gangwon within easy reach of Seoul. Its 10 slopes are short, but the hours are long — in 2025-26 you could ski until 03:00 on late-night days — and the year-round Ocean World water park and Snowy Land sledding village share the complex.
The slopes: Ten slopes with music names — Ballad, Reggae, Classic, Funky, Techno, Hip-hop, Blues, Jazz — with Jazz the longest at 900 m (intermediate). The expert Rock slope (610 m) has not run since 2024-25. This is a resort for lapping short runs, which suits beginners, intermediates and families more than experts.
Hours: In 2025-26: 09:00–17:30 on days without night skiing, 09:00–23:00 with night only, and 09:00 to 03:00 the next morning with night plus late-night. There is no late-night session from Monday 23:00 to Tuesday 03:00, and grooming runs 17:30–19:00.
Getting there: Seoul and Gyeonggi shuttles are booked through Rideus from the resort site; the foreigner service is Dae Myung Tour's vivabus.net (from Hongdae, Dongdaemun, Konkuk Univ. or Sports Complex). By public transport, take an intercity bus from Dong Seoul to Yangdeogwon (about 13 a day) and a local bus on (₩1,400, about 25 min), or a bus from Hongcheon Terminal (₩1,700, about 50 min).
Is Vivaldi Park on the X6+ Season Pass? No. Vivaldi sells its own season pass; 2026-27 passes go on sale October 14, 2026 (locker combos) and October 16 to November 15 (special price).
Can you really ski all night? In 2025-26 it ran until 03:00 on night plus late-night days. There is no late-night session on Monday nights.
