Oak Valley Ski Guide, Wonju — 2026-27 Plan, Museum SAN

Oak Valley's 2026-27 ski plan (December 11 to February 20, "3+2" slopes), how 2025-26 went, and Wonju beyond the slopes: Museum SAN and the Sogeumsan Grand Valley bridges.

Run by IPARK Resort (HDC group), Oak Valley is a Wonju resort combining golf, condos and an art museum. The ski area has shrunk sharply: in 2025-26 only three slopes ran, and for 2026-27 the plan is "3+2" slopes and two lifts from December 11 to February 20.

The 2026-27 slopes: According to the September 2026 season-pass notice, Oak Valley will run beginner slope I (620 m, Flower lift), the new I-1 Funny Run Park (200 m), intermediate F (448 m) and G (725 m), and a new gate-training slope D (250 m, Bird lift). The longest run is G at 725 m, so this is for beginners, families and training rather than big days.

Season dates: In 2025-26 it opened December 12 and closed February 22, running 09:00–22:00 day and night until February 21. The 2026-27 plan is December 11 to February 20 — earlier than most resorts close, so do not count on March skiing here.

Museum SAN: Museum SAN, designed by Tadao Ando and home to a James Turrell pavilion, is inside Oak Valley. It opens 10:00–18:00 (ticket office closes 17:00) and is closed Mondays; the basic pass is ₩23,000 for adults and the Signature pass ₩59,000.

Has Oak Valley closed its ski area? No. It is operating on a much smaller scale and plans a 2026-27 season from December 11 to February 20.

Is it good for advanced skiers? Not really — the longest run is 725 m and there is no advanced slope. It suits beginners, families and gate training.
