Korea's multi-resort X5 season pass became the X6+ for 2026-27: Alpensia added, sold only on NOL, ₩599,000 adult in the first sale.
For 2026-27 the X5 pass has become the six-resort X6+ Season Pass. Here are the resorts, sale windows and prices, how registration works, the refund rules and whether foreigners can buy it.
The joint season pass organised by High1 was called "X5+" in 2024-25 and 2025-26 and sold through Shinhan Card channels. For 2026-27 Alpensia joined, it became the "X6+ Season Pass", and it moved to a single seller: NOL (NOL Universe, formerly Yanolja/Interpark).
Where things stand (November 2026): The first sale (Sep 9–27) and the encore sale (Oct 1–7) are over, and the second sale runs from Oct 12 to Nov 19, 2026 at ₩649,000 for adults and ₩449,000 for youth (Yongpyong and High1 notices). The lower "maximum benefit" price in the ads depends on card cashback, so check the NOL product page before you buy.

From X5 to X6+: what changed: This is a joint pass run by High1 Resort (Kangwon Land), even though people search for it by the Shinhan-era name. Shinhan Card was the exclusive sales channel in 2024-25 and 2025-26, but you could pay with any card or by bank transfer. For 2026-27 Alpensia joins, making six resorts, and the pass is sold only on NOL. 2024-25 X5+: Yongpyong, High1, WelliHilli, Elysian Gangchon, O2. 2025-26 X5+: Yongpyong, High1, Jisan, WelliHilli, Elysian Gangchon. 2026-27 X6+: High1, Mona Yongpyong, Jisan, WelliHilli, Elysian Gangchon, Alpensia.
Price and sale dates: The first sale was ₩599,000 for adults and ₩399,000 for youth and children. An adult buyer can add a linked pass for one child aged 19 or under, with a separate issuance fee reported at ₩50,000. NOL defines adults as born on or before Dec 31, 2007, and youth as born Jan 1, 2008 to Dec 31, 2023. First sale: Sep 9 – Sep 27, 2026. Encore sale: Oct 1 – Oct 7. Second sale: Oct 12 – Nov 19, adult ₩649,000 / youth ₩449,000. Physical pass sent by courier; ₩3,000 delivery included.
Registering after you buy: After payment you get a link by KakaoTalk or text message. Through it you log in, complete Korean identity verification and upload the user's photo and name before the pass is issued. A linked child pass needs proof of the family relationship, such as a family relations certificate or health insurance card.
Refund rules: Before opening, with no pass issued: full refund. Once the pass is issued, or after opening, 10% of the price is kept as a penalty; after opening a usage deduction of (price ÷ 60) × days since the first resort opened is also taken. There are no partial refunds, and cancellations go only through NOL Leisure customer service (1599-8370).
Can foreigners buy it? We found no official statement on foreign buyers. In practice the registration step uses Korean identity verification, which normally needs a Korean mobile number in your own name, so the pass realistically suits foreign residents with an ARC and a local number. At around ₩600,000 it only pays off over many ski days; short-stay visitors are better served by day tickets or resort packages.
Overseas resort perks: Press reports list free skiing at Hoshino Resorts Tomamu (Japan), Wanlong (China) and Sky Resort (Mongolia). The booking conditions were not published, so check with those resorts before relying on them.
How the pass has changed: 2026-27 X6+: High1 Resort, Mona Yongpyong, Jisan Forest Resort, Welli Hilli Park, Elysian Gangchon, Alpensia Resort, NOL (NOL Universe) only, Adult (first sale) ₩599,000. 2025-26 X5+: Mona Yongpyong, High1 Resort, Jisan Forest Resort, Welli Hilli Park, Elysian Gangchon, Shinhan SOL Pay app (exclusive seller; any card or bank transfer accepted), Adult (first sale) ₩549,000. 2024-25 X5+: Mona Yongpyong, High1 Resort, Welli Hilli Park, Elysian Gangchon, O2 Resort, Shinhan Card "All That" (exclusive seller; other cards and bank transfer accepted), Adult (first sale) ₩469,000.
Is there an X5 pass for 2026-27? Yes, under a new name: the X6+ Season Pass. Alpensia has been added, so it now covers six resorts.
Do I need a Shinhan card? No. For 2026-27 it is sold only on NOL, and Shinhan Card is not involved. Even in earlier seasons Shinhan was only the sales channel and other cards were accepted.
Does it work at Phoenix Park or Vivaldi Park? No. The six resorts are High1, Mona Yongpyong, Jisan, WelliHilli Park, Elysian Gangchon and Alpensia.
Can I use it at weekends? Press reports say it is valid on weekdays and weekends for the whole season. We found no blackout dates.
How many days before it pays off? At the second-sale adult price of ₩649,000 and member-resort day tickets of ₩76,000 to ₩111,000, the pass pays off after about 6 to 9 full-price days: 6 at the dearest resort (High1), 9 at the cheapest (Alpensia). Check each resort page for its current ticket prices.
